With ‌iOS 14‌, if you swipe out of a ‌FaceTime‌ call it automatically minimizes into a Picture in Picture window that continues to be visible even while you access other apps. This way you can continue your conversation while using your iPhone. To change the size of the window you can double-tap on it to change from large to medium then to small. If you click a single tap on the Picture in picture window, it will expand back to full screen.

There is a new Translate app in iOS 14 that is well optimized for conversations. You don’t have to be online for the app to work, as it works smoothly while being offline. Apple announced that there will be 11 languages at the launch.

Initially the Siri interface was full screen. Starting with iOS 14 there will be only a “bubble” at the bottom of your display, providing results as notifications at the top of your screen.
The design isn’t the only thing updated to Siri, the assistant is able to send voice messages now.

The major Siri update is however the translate function. Siri is capable to do translation in foreign languages in real time. The translations are done by Apple’s Neural Engine and may be done while being offline. You don’t have to be afraid of privacy concerns as Apple mentioned that no data is transferred to the company.

Overall the new interface looks amazing, Apple tried to bring to iOS users some of the most appreciated features that already exist on Android devices. With this move, Apple is looking to convert as many Android users as possible, to make the transition easier.
